Demoralization of Indian Army

On 6th August 2013, around 20 Pakistani terrorists intruded the Indian territory and killed 5 Indian soldiers. Since the starting of this year similar scenarios are prevalent with both, China and Pakistan. Are our Defence weapons just to be displayed on 26th January; I guess they can do much better than that. If I am not wrong then every soldier from the battalion of those who have been brutally killed must be thinking of taking revenge and that too as soon as possible with a thought that they killed our 5 soldiers we should kill at least 50 of them.

India is having the 3rd largest army in the world and so here politicians don’t case that how many soldiers die everyday in Naxal attack or at the border. We believe in “Live and Let Live” but now our defense minister should wake up and understand that they are not letting us live even on our motherland. I am not a great supporter of Indira Gandhi but what she did during 1965 and 1971 wars was remarkable. India is having 3,467,821 (active and reserve personal) where as Pakistan is having just 1,130,000. The problem is that we can just free some white pigeons from the Red Fort every year but when it comes to self respect, we seem to take a back seat. Why don’t they understand that China and Pakistan are just checking the army response time. Parvez Musharaf had last month said that when Kargil happened we have taken four important posts but Indian forces was just known to one. The same person was invited for the Agra Summit.

The point is why should I pay tax if they are not ready to retaliate. We can buy Sukhoi, scorpion submarines, Bofors but hesitate to fire a single bullet from a crow gun. The defence minister should also understand that our army will also get very demoralized by this thing that government doesn’t cares about us and there is no point performing our duties in full spirit. Going by this thought, the day is not away when Pakistani army personnel will cross borders, kill people in Amritsar or may be Delhi and go back to their land. The 20 Pakistani terrorists who came yesterday and did this inhuman act must be rewarded by their government and must be planning something like this in near future too. I have seen the devastation of Kashmir in 1985 to 1995 and just don’t want it to be back again. Take the war to their land and the people of India are with you in what ever way like we did during 1999 Kargil war.

I am not in favour of a full fledge war with Pakistan but at least give than a lesson so they should think at least a thousand times before they do something like this again.

I salute the five Indian army soldiers of 21 Bihar Regiment who lost their lives to save our motherland. My deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of these soldiers.

Jai Hind
