We generally expect the rear camera to be a superior version of the front, and this is where Honor 9 Lite surprises us as both of the cameras are at par. Both the setups have 13 MP camera paired with 2 MP sensor. They both have similar performance across the lighting conditions as well. However, they do stand on their own when it comes to shooting modes and apertures.
The selfie camera is fun. You can keep yourself in focus and blur the rest. You have full control over the degree of blur- the background defocus can be adjusted even after the shot is taken. The front camera has a number of shooting modes- time-lapse, filter (with a very Instagram-esque touch) and panorama. However, the rear has more shooting modes. Great quality of HD recording is part of the deal too.
