4. Great Rann of Kutch, Gujarat
Great Rann of Kutch has a charm of its own in the month of December. There is the Rann Utsav, which is the traditional festival of the region. During the celebrations, you can watch the folk performances, have night safaris on the full moon night, and enjoy the carnival of music. And, most importantly, the whole white desert gets dried, which looks heavenly grey under the night sky. Don’t miss this at any cost. It’s an other-worldly experience.
