It is India’s most exotic and opulent train which is the epitome of luxury and is meant for the high-end travellers looking for comfort, luxury and a life-time experience. The Maharaja Express is also one of the five most luxurious trains in the world and has been awarded the ‘World’s Leading Luxury Train’ Award at The World Travel Award for seven consecutive years from 2012 to 2018.The train is operational from September to April. The travel options take the passengers through the five different itinerary combinations which are mainly of 8 days and 7 nights or 4 days and 3 nights. These are designed to showcase the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of India and are known as: The Heritage of India, Indian Panorama, Indian Splendor, Treasures of India and Gems of India.

The prices of these tours range from US$ 2910- US$23,700. It is Asia’s most expensive train, and it covers places that are centered in Rajasthan and also north-west and central India, such as Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ranthambore, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Orchha, Khujuraho, Varanasi, Bikaner, Mumbai and Udaipur depending on the travel option chosen. Passengers can embark from Delhi and Mumbai stations.
