Life of young widow Sandhya (Sanya Malhotra) after the death of her husband Astik Giri. They had been married just for 5 months in an arranged marriage set-up. \u00a0Based on happenings of 13 days after death in every Hindu ordinary household. \u00a0Watching it come alive on the screen will make me realize the \u2018extra\u2019; extra rituals; extra judgments; extra expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Watch it for all the extras that will make you question society, family and much more.<\/p>\n<h3>Performances<\/h3>\n<p>Sanya Malhotra as Sandhya is perfect as the not so quintessential young widow. Brings out the conflict flawlessly of how your feeling and how you are expected to feel and behave. Also, the futility of rules and rituals \u2013 what to eat, what to wear \u2013 which need to be followed is brought out ideally.<\/p>\n<p>You can completely feel when she says \u2013 <em>\u201cjab ladki log to akal aati hai toh sab unhe pagglait hi bolte hai&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chaddha bring out the helplessness of parents after losing a young son faultlessly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Casting director Anmol Ahuja<\/strong> deserves special mention for the cast. None of the actors is wasted which is the case with such movies and a stellar cast. Actors like Raghubir Yadav, Meghna Naik, Rajesh Tailang \u2013 each shine in their parts bring out the complexity with much ease.
