These are also named as per the filling &#8211; aalo <em>paratha<\/em>, <em>paneer paratha<\/em>, <em>dal paratha, mooli paratha, gajar paratha, keema paratha,<\/em> and the list is actually endless. You can create your own special paratha as per the filling of your choice!<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s recipe is of Mooli ka Paratha (made with radish filling) which goes well with regular <em>aachars\u00a0<\/em>(pickles) or day to day <em>subzi<\/em>. Have this <em>paratha<\/em> with some butter that simple doubles its taste. It is made by shredding the <em>mooli<\/em> and filling it while rolling into the <em>paratha<\/em>. You could use <em>desi ghee<\/em> to make the <em>paratha<\/em> or may be your regular cooking oil. Let&#8217;s see how to make Mooli ka Pratha with this simple recipe. Enjoy!<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Mooli Ka Paratha<\/h2>\n<p>Wheat flour &#8211; 2 cups<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Mooli (Radish) &#8211; 1 cup (peeled and grated)<\/p>\n<p>Green chili &#8211; 2 (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>Green coriander &#8211; 2 tbsp (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>Garam masala powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Ghee or oil for frying<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Mooli Ka Paratha<\/h2>\n<p>Add 1\/2 tsp salt in wheat flour and make a soft dough.<\/p>\n<p>Cover and keep aside.<\/p>\n<p>Add 1 tsp salt over grated radish and keep aside for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Radish will leave water.<\/p>\n<p>Squeeze the radish and remove all the water.<\/p>\n<p>Add green chili, coriander and garam masala to the radish to prepare the filling.<\/p>\n<p>Make small balls from the dough.<\/p>\n<p>Dust and roll the dough to 4 inches circle.<\/p>\n<p>Keep 2 tbsp of filling in the center of the dough and bring the ends together.<\/p>\n<p>Dust and roll to make parathas.<\/p>\n<p>Heat a <em>tawa<\/em> and fry the parathas from both the sides using little ghee or oil.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot with butter and aachar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of us are fond of Parathas that come in varieties and can be differentiated based on kind of dough used, however, wheat being most common here.
