The virus started to spread around the world over a very few months and became a global pandemic. The coronavirus treatment was unknown at the beginning of the pandemic, for which it hit on a global level causing many deaths.

Scientists worldwide have been working very hard since the year 2020 to develop a vaccine effective against the coronavirus. After months of research and experiments by scientists and experts, vaccinations have been approved to work efficiently against the deadly virus. The vaccination comes in two doses with an interval of at least two months between the two doses. India has also produced vaccinations that work in fighting the coronavirus. The vaccination helps in the prevention of getting infected with the virus. However, if an individual gets diagnosed with the virus after their first dose or second dose, the vaccine will help you recover quickly and maintain strong immunity.

The vaccinations have been created with unique compounds, as the coronavirus is a powerful virus. Individuals getting vaccinated will possibly face side effects due to the vaccine’s strength.

Side effects of the Covid-19 Vaccine:

Fever

Headache

Nausea

Pain on the arm where the vaccinated

Swelling/redness on the arm

Stomach ache

Weakness

Dizziness

Muscle/Joint pain

Body aches/Fatigue

*Important- DO NOT go on an empty stomach for the vaccination

Following are some tips on how to relive the side effects:

Wait at the hospital or clinic to get vaccinated for at least 20 minutes to report any immediate side effect or reaction.

On the area where you got the vaccine, place a cold, wet cloth to reduce redness or swelling. DO NOT massage or put hard pressure on that area.

Do not stop the movement of the arm.

Do not drink alcohol or smoke on the day of the vaccination taken.

Drink lots of water and fluids.
