It is made from rice with a high starch content that allows it to become creamier once cooked. Rice has 80% carbohydrates and is effortless to digest. Its starch is wholly absorbed in the body.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rice is gluten-free and is one of the least allergenic foods. It has detoxifying properties. Thyme is also used to make risotto, a common herb used in cooking for its delicious flavour. Its leaves have a great range of health benefits for the human body. Thyme destroys harmful bacteria and organisms. Consuming thyme regularly helps to protect your body against flu or viruses. Thyme adds a unique taste to meals and works well when sprinkled over dishes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Risotto is a northern Italian dish. Following are the steps to make a fantastic Indian healthy risotto with lots of green veggies:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 cups basmati rice (soaked, drained)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 cup cheese, grated<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 tbsp butter<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd tsp thyme<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup spring onions (sliced)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup mushrooms<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup cauliflower (cut into florets)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup carrots, finely diced\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup green beans, sliced<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Seasoning:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Salt to taste<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd tsp peppercorns, crushed<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd tsp red chilli flakes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd tsp oregano<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4 cups Vegetable stock<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 tsp ginger\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup corn, boiled<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How to make vegetable stock?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Take \u00bd cup of onions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup beans\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup carrots<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup potatoes\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd cup cabbage<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5 cups of water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Put all the vegetables, water, and seasoning in a pressure cooker and simmer it for 10 minutes. Then remove the cooker, cool and strain through a sieve, collect the stock and discard the veggies)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recipe:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1. Melt the butter in a pan, and add the garlic and thyme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2. Add the spring onions and saut\u00e9 for two minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">3. Add mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots and beans, then saut\u00e9 for 3 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4. Add the rice and season with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and oregano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5. Add the vegetable stock, bring it to a boil, and then lower the heat. Cover and cook for 10 minutes until the rice is tender.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">6. Then stir in cheese and ginger and toss it lightly, trying not to break the rice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">7. Transfer the rice to a serving platter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8.
