Historical places are some of the most amazing things you can explore there, and the people of Kerala are friendly and respectful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Let\u2019s make delicious chicken curry in Kerala style.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 \u00bd Kg chicken pieces<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 \u00bd teaspoon turmeric powder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Four teaspoon salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One tablespoon curd<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 \u00bd coconut grated<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two \u00bc cups water\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Four tablespoons coconut oil<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Five whole dry red chillies<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">10gms ginger chopped<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">16 flakes garlic<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd teaspoon peppercorns<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One teaspoon aniseed<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two sticks cinnamon\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ten cloves<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Three green cardamoms\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Five tablespoons coriander seeds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00bd teaspoon cumin seeds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two medium chopped onions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two green chillies<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two pureed tomatoes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recipe:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1. Marinate all the chicken pieces in 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon salt and curd. Keep aside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Extract 1 cup of thick milk from coconut using 1 cup water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">3.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">add 3\/4 cup water to the same coconut and extract 3\/4 cup thin milk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In a pan, heat one tablespoon coconut oil for about \u00bd minute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Roast all ingredients except onions, chillies and tomato puree. Just grind together the roasted ingredients into a paste, keep adding a little water \u00bd cup from time to time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">6.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heat remaining oil three tablespoons in the cooker for about 2 minutes. Add onions and fry till golden brown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">7.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">add remaining turmeric powder, \u00bd teaspoon ground paste chillies and tomato puree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Cook for about three minutes and stir constantly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">9.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add chicken and the remaining three teaspoons of salt. Mix well and add Thin coconut milk and stir again for once.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">10.<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Close the cooker and bring it to full pressure on high heat, reduce the heat and cook for 7 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">11.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Remove the cooker from heat and allow it to cool naturally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">12.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Open the cooker and stir it in the coconut milk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Now the chicken curry in Kerala style is ready to serve.
