It is made from wheat noodles and served in a meat broth. Ramen is flavoured with soy sauce and uses toppings such as sliced chicken, meats and eggs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ramen contains Iron, B Vitamins and manganese; however, it lacks protein and fibres. So it is not beneficial for health, but if you want to add some veggies, it can be delicious and healthy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here is a fantastic recipe for Japanese chicken ramen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two chicken breasts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Salt and black pepper, to season<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 Tbsp unsalted butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 tsp vegetable oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 tsp ginger, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">3 Tbsp soy sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 Tbsp mirin (Japanese liquid food stock)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4 cups rich chicken stock<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mushrooms (1\/2 cup fresh)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two large eggs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1\/2 cup scallions, sliced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 or 3 packs dried ramen noodles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jalape\u00f1o and chilli slices, for serving<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recipe:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Preheat the oven to 375\u2109. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper nicely.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2022Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until the skin gets golden brown. Cook for 7-8 minutes. When one side gets cooked, flip over the chicken to another side and cook for 4-5 minutes, until golden.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Place the chicken and the safe oven pan in the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken gets cooked well.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Remove from the oven and transfer the chicken breast to a plate and cover it with foil paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat until it starts getting shimmered.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add the garlic and ginger cloves, and cook for a few minutes until the cloves get softened.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add on the soy sauce and mirin and stir well to combine them both\u2014Cook well for 1 minute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add the stock. Cover it and bring it to a boil.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Remove the lid, and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add the diced dried mushrooms and simmer gently for another 10 minutes, and season with salt, to taste.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Boil some eggs in a saucepan and when the eggs get boiled, let them cool down.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Chop some jalapeno and slice the chicken into pieces. Place aside. Add the ramen noodles to the boiling water and let them boil for 4-5 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After the noodles turn soft, place the noodles into two large bowls.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add the cooked sliced chicken and the ramen.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Top with some fresh jalape\u00f1o and the soft boiled egg.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Serve hot immediately.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ramen is a famous Japanese noodle dish, which is very soupy in taste.
