One can enjoy eating them raw or make a <em>bhel puri\u00a0<\/em>like<em> chaat <\/em>with it. However today I experimented creating something different with these <em>murmure<\/em> for breakfast and I named it as Masaledar Murmure. The way I prepared this dish is very similar of making beaten rice or <em>poha<\/em>, using similar ingredients like onion, tomatoes, curry leaves and mustard seeds. The breakfast turned out really inviting and yummy and just vanished away from the serving bowl and plates. I am sure your family would also love this innovative and healthy dish. You can quickly and easily make it with this simple recipe of Masaledar Murmure.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Masaledar Murmure<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(Serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Murmure &#8211; 400gm<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Mustard seeds &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Cumin seeds &#8211; 1\/ tsp<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves &#8211; 10 to 12<\/li>\n<li>Green chili &#8211; 2\/3 (split into halves)<\/li>\n<li>Onion &#8211; 1 cup (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Tomato &#8211; 1\/2 cup (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Fresh coriander leaves &#8211; 2 tbsp (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make Masaledar Murmure<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Soak <em>murmure<\/em> in water for 5 min, drain, squeeze and keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan, when it is hot, add mustard and cumin seeds.<\/li>\n<li>When the seeds start crackling, add onion, green chili and curry leaves, fry for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomatoes, fry for a minute.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt, turmeric powder and <em>murmure<\/em>, cook for 2-3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle lemon juice and coriander leaves.<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot with some <em>bhujiya sev<\/em> and ketchup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Murmure or puffed rice are being sold by street vendors in India for ages, probably these are one of the lightest snack one can find.
