The speciality of it is that it is a no-bake treat. The best time to make this cheesecake is the day before you want to serve it so that it can get the proper time to set up completely. You will need at least 5 hours of chill time, but 6-8 hours is better. Keeping it overnight to set in the refrigerator is the best amount of time, in my opinion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You can start making the base of cheesecake from crushed cookies. But, first, you\u2019ll have to let it chill in the fridge for about 30-45 minutes or so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Next, mix up the cheesecake with the orange mixture. The whipped cream mixture must be added to both the cheesecake and orange mixture before layering them both on the outsides of the crust. Finally, p<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">lace the orange Creamsicle Cheesecake in the fridge overnight to set it up completely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Let\u2019s make the creamsicle cheesecake:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Serves:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Preparation time:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">20 minutes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Total time:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5-6 hours<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For the crust:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two packets of crushed oreo cookies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8 tbsp. melted butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">kosher salt (as per your taste)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">FOR THE FILLING:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One box orange Jell-O<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 cup boiling water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 cup whipped topping<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two blocks of softened cream cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1\/4 cup sour cream<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 cup powdered sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 tsp. pure vanilla extract<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">kosher salt<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For garnish:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 cup whipped topping<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One orange, separated into segments and well peeled.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recipe:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2022Boil some water in a pan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2022Whisk the orange jell and boiling water together until the jell gets completely dissolved. Set aside to cool completely.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mix the crushed oreo cookies, butter, and salt into a bowl.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Press it into the bottom of an 8&#8243; pan and keep the sides up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Make the filling: Beat the cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl until smooth.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Now add some powdered sugar, salt and vanilla.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pour the whipped mixture into the cream cheese mixture, pour half of the mixture into a cooled jell. Whisk until the paste gets smooth.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Onto the crust, Pour 1\/4 cup of cream cheese and a mixture of jell until both get used up.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With the help of a butter knife, gently swirl the layers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Cover and put it in a refrigerator for 6 hours, or until firm.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To serve<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">When the cake gets set, decorate the cheesecake&#8217;s outside with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Garnish each layer with sliced strawberries, orange zest, and serve.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>Pro tip:<\/strong> You can also add some strawberry syrup over the cheesecake.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cheesecake is a dessert that is combined with creamsicles, along with cream and cheese.
