Lata Mangeshkar. Before releasing the manifesto, state chief minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with top government officials to review the statutes of the promises made in the 2017 manifesto (the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra) and reflect on the goals achieved. The BJP claims to have fulfilled 99% of all promises made in the 2017 manifesto. The opposition claims that critical issues such as employment, the betterment of farmers, and women’s safety have been avoided. The BJP draws confidence because it fulfilled the two major promises – the Ram Mandir issue and the Triple Talaq legislation – announced in 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for Uttar Pradesh two days ahead of the first polling phase in the state.
