Dates, few years back, were a common item to be bought by anyone who used to visit the middle east countries, however now they are easily available in most super markets of India. To experiment with this dry fruit,\u00a0 I tried making Khajoor Milkshake and it really turned out to be different and delicious.<\/p>\n<p>I made this milkshake by cutting small pieces of <em>khajoor<\/em> and blended those with cold milk. You could be more experimental and even add some vanilla ice-cream to the shake, specially for the kids. I just loved the Khajoor Milkshake as it is and you could use this recipe to make it for yourself.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Khajoor Milkshake<\/h2>\n<h2><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;\">(Serves 2)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Milk &#8211; 500ml (chilled)<\/li>\n<li>Khajoor- 15-20<\/li>\n<li>Sugar &#8211; 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla ice-cream &#8211; 2 scoop (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Ice cubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make\u00a0Khajoor Milkshake<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the <em>khajoor<\/em> in small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Discard the seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Blend with little milk till smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add the remaining milk, sugar and ice cubes and blend again.<\/li>\n<li>Pour in serving glasses.<\/li>\n<li>Add vanilla ice-cream (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Serve immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dates or khajoor are well known for their nutritional value, specially as a great source of potassium, vitamins and minerals.
