Four rooms in this palace are now made into historical museums and art galleries. Lush green patches and meadowlands surround it. It was the last residence of Dogra Kings. After that, it became a residence for Maharani Tara Devi. She was Raja Hari Singh&#8217;s wife.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After the queen died in 1967, her son and his wife converted the palace into a museum in 1975. The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi inaugurated it.
