The building of this museum was built in 1954 by Le Corbusier, who was a French Architect. This museum was built to make people aware of the rich kite-making history in Gujarat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bhanubhai Shah was very passionate about kites. He used to collect kites from the young age of 21 years. After collecting and preserving kites for years, he gave all his collection to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation after the museum was started in 1986.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It has a total collection of 125 kites. They all are different from each other and have distinctive features. The main attraction of this museum is the 16 feet long kite that showcases the Garba dance.
