Thereafter, the Chandigarh Landscape Advisory Committee declared it to be the most unusual creation and decided to preserve the garden in its natural form. The Rock Garden was then officially inaugurated in the year 1976. The garden showcases beautiful sculptures made up of materials like mudguards, metal wires, marbles, broken glasses, crockery and even hair recovered from a barber\u2019s shop.
