Xiaomi, the smartphone brand in India, has returned with another Redmi K series smartphone that makes you ‘Live Extreme’. The first phone in the K series – Redmi K20 and Redmi K 20 Pro, were launched in 2019. After three years, this Chinese smartphone brand launched its successor Redmi K50i on July 20, 2022, in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifications<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Xiaomi is known for its affordable phones, and the Redmi K50i 5G release is worth the wait for mid-range smartphone buyers. The phone has a premium design and minimal branding at the back. It comes with Dolby Vision-Atmos, which gives you a smooth, engaging multimedia experience. Its UFS 3.1, Liquid Cool 2.0 and X-axis Vibration motor are other exciting features that will help its users to get the most out of this phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Display<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The display of this brand new phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and it comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display. It offers a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1080×2460 pixel FHD+ screen resolution. It also has a pixel density of 399 pixels per inch (PPI).<\/span><\/p>\n

Camera and its features<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This newly launched phone in the K series comes with a triple rear camera set-up located on the top left corner at the back. It has 64 Megapixel primary camera, and the other two rear cameras include 8 Megapixel Ultra-wide camera and 2 Megapixel Macro camera. It also supports autofocus and has a back flashlight as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

The front camera is 16 megapixels with a punch hole design right in the centre at the top. Its other features include VLOG, Clone, Long Exposure, Focus Peaking, Time Burst and Exposure Verification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Redmi K50i 5G comes with a bigger battery. It has a 5080 MAH non-removable battery that supports 67W Turbo proprietary fast charging. It can fully charge your phone within an hour and be charged for a full-day usage in just 15 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

It comes with two storage capacity options of 128GB and 256GB.<\/span><\/p>\n

Redmi K50i 5G runs on MIUI 13, based on Android 12. It operates on MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G octa-core processor.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has several sensors, including the fingerprint sensor, magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5 mm port for connecting headphones, GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth v 5.30 connectivity. It also supports 5G\/4G LTE\/3G\/GSM in both sims.<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi has launched this phone in two different variants. One variant is of 6GB Ram and 128GB storage; the other comes with 8GB Ram and 256GB storage. It also has a Ram Booster using which you can boost your ram up to 11GB.<\/span><\/p>\n

This phone is available for sale only on Xiaomi’s official website. The 6GB\/128GB variant is priced at \u20b925,999, and the 8GB\/256GB variant is priced at \u20b928,999.<\/span><\/p>\n
