Located in the Pink City of Rajasthan, it gives its visitors a beautiful view of the city. It was built in 1734 during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Its expansion took place later in 1868.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is built in a beautiful Indo-European style architecture. Its entrance gate is called \u2018Tadigate\u2019, including some temples within its complex. One of them is dedicated to Nahar Singh Bhomia. It also houses a Diwan-i-Aam, two-step wells, and various other tourist attractions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nahargarh means abode of tigers, and It played an essential role in protecting Jaipur City from the attacks of its enemies. Moreover, it was built near the Amer Fort and the Jaigarh Fort as a part of the city&#8217;s defence strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tourist Attractions at the Nahargarh Fort<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nahargarh Biological Park<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Nahargarh Biological Park is spread across 7.2 square kilometres inside the fort. It has an Asiatic lion, Bengal tiger and Indian leopard with other animals in addition to 285 species of birds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jaipur Wax Museum<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jaipur wax museum is a one-of-its-kind museum located inside the Nahargarh fort. It was inaugurated in 2016 and consisted of more than 30 wax statues. They all belong to famous personalities in fields like Bollywood, Space, sports, politics etc. Statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Deepika Padukone and Kalpana Chawala are also there. Besides, every figure has a different background related to that personality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sheesh Mahal<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sheesh Mahal, or the Palace of Mirrors, is housed inside the Jaipur Wax Museum at the fort. It is decorated with 2.5 million glass pieces in different shapes, sizes and colours. It also contains floral motifs, handmade paintings, and ornate chandeliers.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Madhvendra Bhawan<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Madhvendra Bhawan was built by Sawai Madho Singh, serving as a summer destination for the royal family. It has two storeys with different quarters for the king and his queens. It has 12 boudoirs built in the same manner.
