It was set up as a national-level body. The primary purpose is to make it a national-level body and to implement it throughout the nation. The main objective was to ensure that the students are availing all the technical education, the institutions are implementing the specialised education policy well and developing the education system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The statutory body All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE) provides all the technical education to undergraduate and postgraduate students. It falls under the Department of Higher Education, with the Act of Parliament, 1987.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Objectives of the AICTE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Implementation of the programme\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The main objective of the council is to make sure of the transparent implementation of the programme. Many of the programmes get failed due to the ineffective implementation of the policy. After introducing the programme to educate technically, the council will keep an eye on whether the programme is implemented or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To guarantee accreditation from a top institution\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE) guarantees they will accredit the institutions with a top-class institution, where all the tools and skilled teachers are available.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Funding to the institutions\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE) will provide funding to the institutions when required.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Awards and Certificates\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To promote and motivate the students, the All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE) will reward certificates and awards to the students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Composition of the Council:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Chairman<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Vice-chairman<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">14 other members, directors and advisors<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How does the programme work?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE) selects 10-12 top institutions having good records. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The mentor of the school will be trained by the members of the council. The mentor will guide, teach, motivate and train the students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Along with the training, financial aid of up to 50 lakh for three years, to avail the same machines and tools and to continue the training, seminars, classes, workshops etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Scholarships provided by the All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">National e-Scholarship\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The National e-Scholarship is a universal scholarship for all students who can not afford the fees. It consists of many other scholarships, varying on their economic conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Vidya Lakshmi<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Students want to take a loan to continue their education, and education loans can be taken through the Vidya Lakshmi Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pragati and Saksham\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pragati and Saksham are two different schemes. Pragati is an initiative for the girls, while Saksham is for specially-abled students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bodies that will guide the All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All the technical courses, which require tools and skills education, come under the All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE). Some bodies will further guide the All India Council for Technical Research (AICTE).
