Additionally, it has Zepp Coach, a mentoring system that adjusts the watch’s recommendations based on your current level of fitness. It also detects stress levels and connects with important third-party programmes like Google Fit, Strava, and Apple Health to provide comprehensive fitness data.

As one of the most established smartwatch manufacturers, Amazfit is well-known in the Indian wearable industry. Amazfit has also primarily specialised in the affordable section of wearable technology, with several smartwatches available at varying price ranges for years. Its watches are around Rs 10,000, giving customers access to basic innovative capabilities, health management, and other features at reasonable costs.

The innovative Amazfit Falcon smartwatch alters that. The Amazfit Falcon costs Rs 44,999, which is more than the most common smartphones in India. But why is it so pricey, and how does it compare to other watches? Let’s investigate.

What’s fresh?

The Falcon should be more durable than most previous Amazfit products because of modifications made to its physical build, which Amazfit asserts is now composed of military-grade components. This has a TC4 titanium composite structure that is aircraft-grade. The company’s T-Rex watch line is the only one that has so far targeted the sturdy market.

Additionally, the watch has built-in GPS functionality, enabling it to connect with six satellite positioning networks through the Zepp App. A 1.28-inch Screen resolution is there and is, predictably, covered in Sapphire Glass. For sports fans, the Amazfit Falcon also has over 150 sporting mode tracking functions. Along with more mainstream sports like football, they include triathlon assistance and aquatic sports. There are also wellness tools like heart-rate tracking.

Cost and Accessibility

The wristwatch will be offered on the Amazfit portal beginning this week, on December 3, for Rs 44,999. Pre-orders for the watch may be made starting on December 1.

The Falcon will compete with high-end smartwatches like Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 LTE version and the Apple Watch SE at its pricing point. Although the new Amazfit wearable costs more than any, it still lacks support for a whole operating system with applications and eSIM functionality.

Why must one Buy?

Amazing battery life

GPS traces with precision

Buttons allow for touchscreen-free usage of the watch

Easy to unlock screen locks when in use

Reasonably priced compared to rivals

Compatibility with third-party apps

Why should one avoid it?

Heart rate monitoring is unreliable.

Zepp’s coach must be improved to include goals other than health.

Many of us are probably familiar with the top brands of multisport GPS watches: Polar, Garmin, Suunto, Coros, and now even Apple provides high-end smartwatches that can keep up with you while you run, sail, kayak, cycle, or engage in other activities.
