According to the Election Commission, the 2nd phase of polling saw a turnout of nearly 59% around 5 pm. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Over 2.51 crore voters will determine the destiny of 833 contestants from 61 political parties in the 2nd round of the Gujarat polls. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There were roughly 36,000 EVMs and 26,409 polling places. To streamline the elections, about 84,000 polling officials and over 29,000 supervising officers were stationed in 14 districts. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">93 voting stations were model booths, 93 environmentally friendly booths, Divyang handles the remaining 93, and young people administered 14 out of a maximum of 26,409 polling stations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the 2nd phase, live streaming occurred in 13,319 polling places. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Gandhinagar, Chhota Udaipur, Panchmahal, Anand, Patan, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Mehsana, Aravali, Mahisagar, Sabarkantha, Dahod, and Kheda districts are home to the 93 constituencies that went to the polls in the second round.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ghatlodia is a constituency that will decide Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel&#8217;s election destiny; Viramgam is a constituency where Patidar leader Hardik Patel run as a BJP contender; and Gandhinagar South, where the saffron party has chosen Alpesh Thakor, are among the critical constituencies in the 2nd and the final round of the elections in Gujarat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On December 1, election authorities stated that an average turnout of 59.24% had been achieved across 89 assembly constituencies. While voting took place from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, the final participation would be more significant as it went on in the polling places where people had gathered before 5 pm and were waiting in lines. In the first phase, 788 applicants&#8217; futures will be chosen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With a few exceptions, voting in the 89 constituencies in southern Gujarat and Saurashtra-Kutch that were up for election in the first round was mainly calm.
