The program’s title, DHRUV, is derived from the pole star “Dhruv Tara.” Former Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal introduced it on October 10th, 2019. At the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) headquarters in Bengaluru, this revolutionary programme was introduced in the appearance of Dr K. Sivan, ISRO Chairman and Wing Commander. Rakesh Sharma, Union Education Minister, and Professor K. Raghavan, Principal Scientific Expert to the Indian Government. <\/span>The program’s primary goal is to support young, talented kids in their chosen fields, creative writing, science, technology, the performing arts, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Goals of the DHRUV Unique Program<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Indian government would inspire outstanding and brilliant kids to advance their abilities and knowledge through this initiative. To help youngsters realise their most significant potential, prominent professionals in many fields will guide and foster them in national institutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The primary focus is on science and Technology and the Arts. 60 kids studying in grades 9 through 12 nationwide will be chosen. The Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme (PMILP) will boost young pupils’ confidence, inspiring them to study as much as possible about new and creative subjects. They will benefit from this as they develop and seek to improve the community and the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Program DHRUV – Main Components<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In October 2019, the PMILP launched its first-ever class of students. For the inaugural intake of DHRUV, 60 outstanding students\u201430 from the arts program and 30 from science\u2014were selected. These pupils were chosen from various private and public schools around the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

All 60 students were divided into two groups for the 14-day learning opportunity planned as part of the curriculum. One for the performing arts and one for science. They were then split into three groups of ten each. Students were required to exhibit their works (for science) and choreography and perform in front of experts and supervisors for both streams (for Performing Arts)<\/span><\/p>\n

The project’s topic and choreography were centred on environmental and societal issues. Students’ confidence might grow due to this programme, enabling them to learn about global activities and disseminate awareness of them. <\/span>The Indian government first concentrated on just two significant sectors with this initiative. Still, they aim to expand it to other streams and industries to foster the inventive growth of youngsters all around the nation and provide them with the chance to develop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Importance of the DHRUV Programme<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The DHRUV serves as a stage for displaying the skills of brilliant and deserving students and helps them achieve success in their chosen fields, the performing arts, science, creative writing, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with reaching their full potential, these gifted children are anticipated to contribute to society significantly. <\/span>Millions of children around the country will look forward to the youngsters from the Dhruv Tara program as positive examples. <\/span>Many of the chosen kids are anticipated to excel in their selected areas and bring honour to their families, the state they belong to, and the country.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
