The app enables all government departments to check their pending cases. It allows the lawyers to track the instances in which they are appearing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Regardless of the on-record lawyers and advocates, this app provides access to all the nodal officers and law officers of various Central Ministries. They can watch court proceedings by logging in through the app. The application, which existed earlier, allowed access to onboard advocates and lawyers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It also allowed the officers to check the status of the cases, judgements and orders. During the pandemic, access was even given to a few media personnel to watch the court proceedings virtually and provide a report about that. The application provides access to the Attorney General of India, Additional Solicitor General of India and all other law officers to view the Government and central ministry cases filed in the Supreme Court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Features of the Supreme court mobile app 2.0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The app provides services where one can check a cause list, case status, daily order, judgement, a certified copy of their case, SCR (State Case Registry), office report and a display board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The application has several vital features where one can find detailed information about the Supreme Court of India, Legislative Department, Department of Legal Affairs, Constitution of India, Department of Justice and eGazette.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What is the importance of Supreme court mobile app 2.0?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud said it is a citizen-centric app developed by the e-committee of the Supreme Court, which was working hard the past year to bring digital reforms to the law. The pandemic has pushed lawyers, judges, advocates and other officers to adopt high-tech solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As seen in the pandemic, this app virtually helped the media personnels to be in touch with the cases in the court. In this digitalized world, Supreme Court Mobile app is a way forward to bring change even in the sector of law. With the virtual availability of data, ministries, lawyers and even people who have filed a case can trace it without moving to court every single time.
