Anuv Jain, a songwriter, composer, and fantastic singer, was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, on March 11, 1995. He began his career and made his professional debut in 2016 with his first song Baarishein. Anuv has a twin sister who is a make-up artist, Anigha Jain. He attended the Sacred Heart Convent School, and he completed his Graduation from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in Mumbai and got a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did he start composing songs?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anuv was studying in class 11 when he started his own YouTube channel, and his only aim was to produce good music. The first song he uploaded to his channel was \u2018Meri Baaton Me Tu\u2019 in 2012, the same year he started his channel. He wrote his song Baarishein when he was in love with a girl. Sitting on his terrace on a rainy day, he decided to convert all his feelings into a song for her. He wrote about the moments they shared and the love they cherished together.<\/span><\/p>\n

His father was in a coma for seven years and died when Anuv was just 17 years old. That was a tough part of life for him and his family. He faced tragedy and isolated himself from others, which was when he created his song \u2018Maula,\u2019 which talked about the grief and pain a family goes through when they lose their loved ones. He said that sadness is why he can write such connecting songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

His new song ‘Mazaak’ is all about falling in love. It talks about how it is just a joke. At the moment, a person is away from love, and in an unexpected moment, they fall in love, entirely lost in someone’s presence, how a person becomes someone’s someone. <\/span>While Mazaak talks about new love, Anuv’s song ‘Meri Baaton Mein Tu’ is about someone who craves his passion. It is all about the emptiness when your loved ones are not close to you, how everything, every place of life, is connected to them and how they entirely justify the meaning of life.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWhenever there is a huge buildup of memories and emotions inside you, your body cannot take it, and you need to vent it out somewhere. Hence, people either get angry at everything, or they might cry. I did the latter; I cried a lot, but it was not enough. So, I converted all these memories and emotions like ink in my pen and wrote down everything on a piece of paper and that is how my first song \u2018<\/span>Maula\u2019<\/span><\/em>\u00a0came about.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI am not glorifying sadness but sadness, grief, emptiness \u2014 it is all bound to come your way, and I learned that at a very young age. Through my music, I like to tell everyone that you can channel all the negativity around you and do something amazing with your life. You require a little motivation, willpower, and courage, and you are sorted.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Anuv Jain is a singer whose mesmerizing voice can make you fall in love, to crave love a bit more. The pleasant lyrics of his songs touch the bottom of your heart and create a place in it. His songs connect with a person, and it not only brings love and happiness but it also connects with the sadness of life.
