It can be made from carrots or\u00a0<em>sooji<\/em>\u00a0or even from wheat flour or\u00a0<em>aata<\/em>. Today I made Aate Ka Halwa, which has been a long-time favorite for breakfast. I love having the <em>ghee-<\/em>soaked <em>halwa<\/em> for the early morning breakfast whenever we are together as extended family and I&#8217;m sure you too would love it with your near and dear ones. The <em>halwa<\/em> is decorated with dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios and raisins as they enhance the appeal as well the taste of halwa. Use this Aate Ka Halwa Recipe to make it at home today and enjoy any time of the day.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Aate Ka Halwa<\/h2>\n<p><strong> (serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Aata<\/em> (wheat flour) &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li><em>Desi ghee<\/em> &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Sugar &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Water &#8211; 2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Dry fruits for garnishing &#8211; (broken) I used cashew nuts, almonds, raisins and pistachios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>How to make Aate Ka Halwa<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat the <em>ghee<\/em> in a <em>kadhai<\/em>, when it has melted, add wheat flour.<\/li>\n<li>Fry on low flame till light brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add water and cook for 15 sec.<\/li>\n<li>Add sugar and cook for about 1-2 min.<\/li>\n<li>Take the <em>halwa<\/em> out in the serving plate, set nicely.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with broken dry fruits.<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Halwa is a traditional sweet made in India using many different ingredients.
