The only entrance exam that allows students to enrol in undergraduate programmes at IIT leading to bachelor’s degrees, integrated master’s degrees, or dual degrees in engineering, science, or architecture is JEE Advanced. After passing JEE Main, students must pass the national-level Joint Entrance Examination \u2013 Advanced to join the ranks of IIT alumni. The top 2.5 lakh JEE Main applicants are given seating for this entrance exam every year.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Step 1:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Applicants will be ranked higher if they receive higher positive marks. Step 2’s following criterion will be used if Step 1’s tie-breaking criteria fail to sever the tie.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Step 2:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0The applicant who received higher scores in mathematics will be given a higher rank. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the better Physics score will be given the higher rank. Candidates will be given the same rank if there is still a tie after this.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Registration for JEE Advanced 2023 will start at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati on April 30 at 10 am and finish on May 7 at 5 pm. The last date for registered candidates to pay the fees is May 8.<\/span><\/p>\n
