This post examines the recipe for making Chaulai Saag and its health benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recipe for Chaulai Saag<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ingredients<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Two bunches of amaranth leaves, or Chaulai Saag<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">mustard oil, one tablespoon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1\/4 cup cumin seeds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2 to 3 minced garlic cloves<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One finely chopped onion<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One tomato chopped finely<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One green chilli that has been sliced lengthwise<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">half a teaspoon of turmeric powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">One teaspoon of dried coriander<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Added salt and water for cooking<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Instructions<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Remove any tough stems from the Chaulai Saag leaves and carefully wash them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Roughly chop the leaves, then set them aside.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In a pan or kadai, warm the oil over medium heat. Stir in the cumin seeds and watch them crackle.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Garlic that has been minced should be added and saut\u00e9ed until golden.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">When the onions are transparent, add the chopped onions and stir.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Add diced tomatoes and, if desired, green chilli.
