On my food journey&#8217;s this has been a late entry but its just yummy to eat. People who love <em>dosas<\/em> and <em>idli&#8217;s<\/em> would also find this tempting as a very similar batter is used to make Kuzhi Paniyaram. This dish comes from the state of Tamil Nadu and is made using specific mold called <em>paniyaram<\/em> pan available in markets from leading cookery and utensils companies. Kuzhi Paniyaram recipe includes mostly the rice batter, however to make it slightly more interesting I added some onions, tomatoes and chili to the batter. It is best served in breakfast with coconut or other spicy chutney, so let&#8217;s see a different and yummy Kuzhi Paniyaram Recipe today.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Kuzhi Paniyaram<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Dosa<\/em> batter &#8211; 3 cups<\/p>\n<p>Onion &#8211; 1\\2 cup ( chopped )<\/p>\n<p>Tomato &#8211; 1\\4 cup ( chopped )<\/p>\n<p>Green chili &#8211; 1 tsp ( chopped )<\/p>\n<p>Green coriander &#8211; 2 tbsp ( chopped )<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Kuzhi Paniyaram<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Mix <em>dosa<\/em> batter with onions, tomato, green chili, green coriander and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly oil the <em>paniyaram<\/em> pan.<\/p>\n<p>Fill the molds with the batter.<\/p>\n<p>Cook on medium heat till they turn slightly brown from one side.<\/p>\n<p>Turn the paniyarams on the other side and cook from the other side as well.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot with peanut chutney or coconut chutney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being from the northern part of India, I had a distinctive love for something different, and India being such a large country it never disappoints in its cuisines which always offer something new and something different from various regions.
