Vedic Maths, also known as Vedic Mathematics, is a set of mathematical principles drawn from the Vedas, the world’s oldest body of scriptures. Vedic Maths is a strong tool for solving various mathematical issues, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Its approaches are frequently simpler and faster than traditional methods, and they can be used to tackle issues that would be difficult or impossible to solve otherwise.<\/span><\/p>\n

History of Vedic Maths<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Vedic Maths’ actual roots are unknown. However, it is thought to have evolved in India about 5,000 years ago. The Atharva Veda, one of the four Vedas, contains the oldest known mention of Vedic Maths. For centuries, Vedic Math was passed down orally from generation to generation. It was only recently rediscovered in the early twentieth century by Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj, a renowned mathematician and Sanskrit scholar. Tirthaji Maharaj studied the Vedas and other ancient Indian scriptures for almost 30 years before developing a comprehensive system of Vedic Maths techniques. Tirthaji Maharaj’s book “Vedic Mathematics,” which presented his system to the world, was released in 1965. The book was a significant success, and Vedic Maths swiftly spread throughout India and the rest of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
