Any Christmas party in the west is just incomplete without a perfect roast, various meats are generally used for these roasts and the turkey is the most famous one. However a lot of people who do not prefer turkey and have smaller families may go in for smaller birds and make chicken roasts. So today I tell you how to make a perfect Christmas Stuffed Chicken Roast for your party at home, the stuffing&#8217;s I chose to do included eggs, potatoes, onions, cashew nuts, raisins, however you can modify these as per your personal preferences. I had initial apprehensions about the dish, however it came out perfectly well and everyone enjoyed a teaser before the party. I&#8217;m definitely going to repeat this for my Christmas party and you too can follow this Christmas Stuffed Chicken Roast Recipe.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Christmas Stuffed Chicken Roast<\/h2>\n<p><strong> (serves 4-6)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chicken &#8211; 1 full<\/p>\n<p>Strong thread &#8211; about 1 feet<\/p>\n<p><em>For marination<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Dahi<\/em> &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Red food color &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Garam masala<\/em> powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Lemon juice &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Olive oil &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<p><em>For stuffing<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Onions &#8211; 1\/2 cup (sliced)<\/p>\n<p>Potatoes &#8211; 2 small<\/p>\n<p>Eggs &#8211; 2<\/p>\n<p>Cashew nuts &#8211; 10\/12<\/p>\n<p>Raisins &#8211; 12\/14<\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<p><em>For garnishing<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Broccoli &#8211; 1<\/p>\n<p>Peas &#8211; 1\/4 cup<\/p>\n<p>Baby tomatoes &#8211; 8\/10<\/p>\n<p>Baby corn &#8211; 5\/7<\/p>\n<p>Fruits like orange\/ grapes<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Christmas Stuffed Chicken Roast<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 25 min<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 1 hour 30 min<\/p>\n<p><em>Marination<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Clean the chicken from outside and inside.<\/p>\n<p>Mix all marination ingredients in a bowl and apply all over the chicken and inside.<\/p>\n<p>Make incisions over the chicken in V shape (3\/4 on each side)<\/p>\n<p>Cover with cling foil and refrigerate overnight.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stuffing<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cut potatoes in 2 pieces and boil.<\/p>\n<p>Boil the eggs and remove the shell.<\/p>\n<p>In a <em>kadhai<\/em> take oil and fry onions, cashew nuts and raisins till golden brown.<\/p>\n<p><em>Baking<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Take the chicken out, place it on the oven tray and fill inside with potato pieces, eggs and fried onions, cashew nuts and raisins.<\/p>\n<p>Tie the chicken legs with the thread properly so it does not come loose.<\/p>\n<p>Apply light oil with a brush all over.<\/p>\n<p>Spread half each of baby corn, baby tomatoes, peas and broccoli around the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Pre heat the oven to 180 C.<\/p>\n<p>Bake the chicken for about 50-60 min (until done, depends on the size of chicken)<\/p>\n<p><em>Garnishing<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Spread rest of\u00a0baby corn, baby tomatoes, peas and broccoli around the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Place the fruits around the roast.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read More<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/my-india\/food\/christmas-plum-cake-2\" target=\"_blank\">Christmas Plum Cake Recipe<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/wallpapers\/christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christmas Wallpapers and Images<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/events\/christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\">About Christmas Festival<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/my-india\/india\/essay-about-christmas-for-students-and-teachers\" target=\"_blank\">Essay on Christmas<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christmas holds traditional value for a lot of people of the world, these traditional things are followed in prayers, celebrations and parties.
