Mrs. Kuperus, also known as Miep Gies, was one of the helpers who assisted Anne Frank’s family while they were in hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. She, along with her husband Jan Gies, provided food, supplies, and emotional support to the Frank family and the others hiding in the secret annex.<\/h3>\n

Anne shared a close and trusting relationship with Mrs. Kuperus. She often referred to her as “Miep” in her diary and expressed gratitude for her kindness and generosity.
