This view just looks awesome and tempts you to go more natural in your diet. The markets are flooded with the green leafy vegetables and we have all studied the huge benefits these give to our body in the long run. This weekend I bought some <em>bathua<\/em> leaves and used them to make Bathuye Ki Poori. These swelling poori&#8217;s give a nice aroma and taste wonderful and go well any Indian curry, however I suggest you try them with some home made <em>aaloo ki sabzi <\/em>and<em> achaar<\/em>. Follow the below Bathuye Ki Poori Recipe and enjoy another variation to the green leafy vegetables in your diet. Be healthy!<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Bathuye Ki Poori<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bathua &#8211; 250 gms<\/p>\n<p>Wheat flour (aata) &#8211; 3 cups<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Garam masala<\/em> powder &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Oil for frying<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Bathuye Ki Poori<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 10 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 15 min.<\/p>\n<p>Clean the <em>bathua<\/em> leaves, wash and boil them in water for a min.<\/p>\n<p>Drain the water and blend the leaves in a blender to make a smooth paste.<\/p>\n<p>Mix salt, red chili powder, <em>garam masala,\u00a0<\/em>ginger garlic paste with this paste and use it to knead a tight dough (add water as needed).<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a <em>kadhai.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Make small balls of the dough about lemon size and roll them into <em>poori<\/em> size shapes.<\/p>\n<p>When the oil is hot, fry the <em>poori&#8217;s<\/em> until golden brown from each side.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot with any Indian curry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The winter season if you travel across the countryside or villages in India, you can see the green crop all over.
