Made on the lines of flattened rice or regular <em>poha<\/em>, this uses regular sandwich bread to make Bread Poha. The ingredients used are similar to regular <em>poha<\/em> as well, like onions, tomatoes, peas, ground nuts with other home spices. Bread Poha tastes great and is a good option for your daily breakfast, top it with some fresh <em>dhania<\/em> leaves and ketchup and if you like some <em>aaloo bhujiya<\/em> and the taste just multiplies manifold. Here is Bread Poha Recipe for you.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for \u00a0Bread Poha<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Onion &#8211; 1 (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Curry leaves &#8211; 1 sprig<\/p>\n<p>Tomatoes &#8211; 1 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Peas &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p>Green Chili &#8211; 2 to 3 (cut vertically)<\/p>\n<p>Ground nut &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p>Bread slices &#8211; 6-8 pieces<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Lemon juice &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Fresh dhania leaves for garnishing<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Bread Poha<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 10 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 15 min.<\/p>\n<p>Heat 1\/4 tsp oil in a <em>kadhai<\/em> and fry the ground nuts. Keep aside<\/p>\n<p>Take rest of oil in a <em>kadhai<\/em>, mustard seeds, curry leaves.<\/p>\n<p>When it starts to splatter, add onion and fry till light golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Add tomatoes and green chili and cook for 1-2 min.<\/p>\n<p>Add peas, cook for about a min.<\/p>\n<p>Break the bread slices in small pieces with hand and add to the <em>kadhai<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Add salt and turmeric powder, red chili powder and fried ground nuts.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle some water, mix well and cook for 3-4 min.<\/p>\n<p>Add lemon juice and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish with fresh <em>dhania<\/em> leaves and serve hot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Innovation always creates something unique and Bread Poha is just another unique creation, the recipe for which I learnt from my mother.
