The taste is just a great combo of all these ingredients, so somewhat tangy, somewhat sweet and somewhat chilly, a perfect Indian curry for everyday meal or a party menu. I added <em>paneer<\/em> (cottage cheese), pineapple, peas, corn, carrots, beans, <em>makhane<\/em>, cashew nuts and raisins as my <em>navratan&#8217;s.\u00a0<\/em>Navratan Korma goes well with Indian breads like <em>paratha<\/em> or <em>naan<\/em>. The ingredients may seem heavy and a lot of work, but it is actually pretty simple to make this dish, so let&#8217;s see the Navratan Korma Recipe and make it any time you like.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All you need is (serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>For Navratan<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Paneer<\/em> &#8211; 1 cup (cut in small pieces and fry in little oil)<\/p>\n<p>Peas &#8211; 1\/2 cup (boiled for a minute)<\/p>\n<p>Corn &#8211; 1\/2 cup (boiled for a minute)<\/p>\n<p>Beans &#8211; 1\/2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Carrots &#8211; 1\/2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p><em>Gobhi<\/em> &#8211; 1\/2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Pineapple &#8211; 1\/2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p><em>Makhane<\/em> &#8211; 1 cup (fry in little oil)<\/p>\n<p><em>Kaju<\/em> &#8211; 1\/4 cup (split in halves and fry in little oil)<\/p>\n<p><em>For Gravy<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Onion &#8211; 2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Tomato &#8211; 1 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Dhania<\/em> powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Green<em> elaichi &#8211; 5 to 6<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Laung<\/em> &#8211; 5 to 6<\/p>\n<p><em>Kali mirch<\/em> &#8211; 8 to 10<\/p>\n<p><em>Dal chini<\/em> &#8211; 1\/2 inch<\/p>\n<p><em>Kaju tukra<\/em> &#8211; 1\/2 cup (blend to make a paste with little water)<\/p>\n<p>Cream &#8211; 1 tbsp + 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 4 tbsp<\/p>\n<h2>Navratan Korma Recipe<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 15 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 25 min.<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, heat oil and add all whole spices and fry for a min.<\/p>\n<p>Add onions and fry till light golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Add ginger garlic paste and fry for another min.<\/p>\n<p>Add tomatoes and cook for 3-4 min, add all dry <em>masala<\/em> and cook for 2-3 min on low heat.<\/p>\n<p>Add <em>kaju<\/em> paste, cook for 3-4 min.<\/p>\n<p>Add all <em>Navratan&#8217;s<\/em>, add 2 cup water and cook for 4-5 min.
