It is served pretty much everywhere from restaurants to weddings and parties and even made in numerous Indian homes. Kids love this dish and adults just adore it, it goes well with most Indian breads and specially with a <em>naan<\/em> or <em>tandoori roti<\/em>. If you want to make it at home just follow this easy Shahi Paneer Recipe and make your meals extra special, you are sure to make this again and again!<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Shahi Paneer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paneer &#8211; 400 gms (cut in large square pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Onion &#8211; 2 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Tomato &#8211; 1 cup (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Dhania powder &#8211; 1 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Garam masala powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Kaju tukra &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p>Green chili &#8211; 2 to 3 (cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Fresh cream &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Butter &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Fresh <em>Dhania<\/em> leaves for garnishing<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Shahi Paneer<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 10 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 25 min.<\/p>\n<p>Heat butter in a pan and fry <em>paneer<\/em> till light brown on all sides. Keep aside.<\/p>\n<p>Blend the <em>kaju tukra<\/em> and green chili with little water to make a paste. Keep aside<\/p>\n<p>Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to it, once it starts to crackle add onions and fry till light golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1-2 min.<\/p>\n<p>Add all dry <em>masala<\/em> and fry for 3-4 min.<\/p>\n<p>Add tomatoes and cook for 3-4 min.
