As you can imagine, its very simple to make this at home and served quickly. Anytime you are in mood for a <em>chaat<\/em> Dahi Poori can do wonders to your expectations, you can alter the spices for your taste and even make it for kids to enjoy, in fact since the spices can be added at the last minute, this dish can be customized to individual liking. It is also a good variation to <em>papdi chaat<\/em> and can be made with broken <em>gol gappa&#8217;s<\/em> as well. Keep this Dahi Poori up your sleeve and enjoy it any day you like.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Dahi Poori<\/h2>\n<p><strong> (serves 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gol gappa &#8211; 20<\/p>\n<p>Potatoes &#8211; 2 medium (boiled, peeled and cut in small pieces)<\/p>\n<p>Dahi &#8211; 1 &amp; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p>Tamarind chutney (saunth) &#8211; 1\/4 cup<\/p>\n<p>Green chutney &#8211; 1\/4 cup<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p><em>Zeera<\/em> powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Bhujiya sev<\/em> for garnishing<\/p>\n<p>Pomegranate seeds for garnishing.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh <em>dhania<\/em> leaves for garnishing.<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Dahi Poori<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 5 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 10 min.<\/p>\n<p>Line up the <em>gol gappa<\/em> in the serving tray.<\/p>\n<p>Break them from the top and add boiled potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Pour <em>dahi<\/em>, tamarind chutney and green chutney all over.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle salt, red chili powder and <em>zeera<\/em> powder.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish with <em>bhujiya sev<\/em>, pomegranate seeds and fresh <em>dhania<\/em> leaves.<\/p>\n<p>Serve fresh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dahi Poori is made with gol gappa mixed with nearly all ingredients of papdi chaat like dahi, boiled potatoes, tamarind chutney, spices like red chili powder, zeera powder etc. What results is a mouth watering chaat ready to be served for a pleasant evening.
