Ekta Kapoor \u2013 The Queen Behind Dramas<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ekta Kapoor is the undisputed queen behind dramas on Indian television. She is popular, vocal and of course controversial. Now she is controversial enough to get people to seek attention by doing “Ekta Kapoor murdabad” shouting, yes, that happened during the Jaipur Lit Festival’s session with her. There were representatives from a Rajput Sabha who wanted to show their resentment against the\u00a0“Jodha Akbar” venture of Ekta Kapoor. Ekta carried on and took the little drama fairly lightly. Ekta did talk about motivation and the all-important connect with the audience. There is a flavour of “I have never cared and can never care for anything which I don’t give a damn too”.<\/p>\n

Sonam Kalra & The Sufi Gospel Project<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Music evenings at Jaipur Literature festival are fun. if you are a delegate they are fun and food both. Sonam Kalra and her team are doing a splendid job and their event showed exemplary team effort at play. There was a 10-second accuracy coordination between team members and the same showed performance after performance. People really wanted her to keep on performing but JLF is all about doing everything on time and she ensured that she didn’t eat into the time of the other performers.<\/p>\n

And you get to hear, dance and singalong with a Grammy winner \ud83d\ude42<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The music stage was waiting for their magic and they didn’t disappoint any. Their performance was wow to say the least and that was what was expected from The Grammy award-winning band Tinariwen. They are from Mali and perform the\u00a0world over and every time they perform, they win scores of new fans who struggle to find their minds after their performance has blown them over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
