Here in India we use potatoes mixed with literally every other vegetable to make a dish. It is used in starters, main course and even as a filling in Indian breads like <em>aaloo ka paratha<\/em>. Just the name of some of the dishes is enough to start you drooling, well here is another dish that you would love to eat and serve. I made Crispy Potatoes In Tangy Sauce. It looked so inviting and tasted just great, you can serve it as starters or in breakfast. I&#8217;m sure everyone on the table would love a few pieces and why not when it is so straight forward to make. Lets see this\u00a0Crispy Potatoes In Tangy Sauce Recipe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All you need is (serves 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Potatoes &#8211; 2<\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Black pepper &#8211; 1\/2 tsp (coarsely grounded)<\/p>\n<p>Red chili flakes &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Mixed herbs &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Saunth<\/em> powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>For Sauce<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Oil &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Butter &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Black pepper &#8211; 1\/2 tsp (coarsely grounded)<\/p>\n<p>Tomato sauce &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Water &#8211; 1 cup<\/p>\n<h2>Crispy Potato In Tangy Sauce Recipe<\/h2>\n<p>Preparation time: 15 min.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 15 min.<\/p>\n<p>Mix 1 tbsp oil, black pepper powder, mixed herbs, red chili flakes, <em>saunth<\/em> powder and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Half boil the potatoes and cut in them into round slices and marinate them with the mixture. Keep aside for about 20 min.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>For Sauce<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Heat butter and oil in a thick bottom pan, add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.<\/p>\n<p>Add black pepper powder, tomato sauce, salt and water and boil for about 5-6 min with constant stirring.<\/p>\n<p>Pour it in the serving plate and let it cool slightly.<\/p>\n<p>Heat a griddle and grill the marinated potatoes from both sides for 2-3 min.<\/p>\n<p>Place over the sauce and serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Potato or aaloo is a very versatile vegetable grown all over the world.
