When you are used to creating impressive works of high standards, anything below that line does not seem acceptable to the people! This is exactly what happened with Kunal Deshmukh\u2019s Raja Natwarlal<\/em>. Having seen his mastery in direction with films like Jannat, Jannat 2<\/em> and Tum Mile<\/em>, one would naturally tend to expect a lot from this brilliant director. But what we see in his latest flick is quite disappointing for his fans. Even his unspoken partnership with Emran Hashmi which had given him the three big hits of his career failed to work this time. Raja Natwarlal<\/em>\u00a0has nothing which we haven\u2019t seen before in Kunal\u2019s films!<\/p>\n

Plot:<\/strong> Conmen Raja and Raghav get trapped in their own swindle after having duped a big goon-turned businessman called Vardha Yadav. How does this small conman Raja comes out from the mess he has built up forms the thrilling element in the story!<\/p>\n

Performances:<\/strong> This is certainly not one of the best performances of Emraan Hashmi but the actor has definitely done a good job in pulling off this sluggish script. It is only to the mercy of his potentials that one can actually sit through the film. Emraan has grown stupendously well as an actor and his performance speaks for his proficiency.<\/p>\n

Humaima Malik does nothing better than screaming out her vocal chords! She is unnecessarily loud and overly enthusiastic. There is no soul in her acting.<\/p>\n

Kay Kay Menon has been sheerly wasted in the film! He only ends up making a fool of himself in this half-baked script.<\/p>\n

Paresh Rawal is one actor who gives soul to every film. It is an absolute delight to watch him act.<\/p>\n

Music:<\/strong> Music had always been the USP of Emran Hashmi films! Perhaps, this time nothing seems to have worked in favour of the film. The music of Raja Natwarlal<\/em> is an average composition by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The songs don\u2019t really reach you unless heard a couple of times. The best from the lot is \u201cTera Shaunk Chada Hai\u201d.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Good:<\/strong> Emraan Hashmi and Paresh Rawal\u2019s presence is something which can be touted to be good about the film. The fun element in the con and a couple of songs are the other average add-ons in the film.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Bad:<\/strong> The script is unbearably sluggish and the direction lacks finesse. Humaima Malik is just so loud and Kay Kay Menon just so dull! Even the songs of the film could not spell the magic for Raja Natwarlal<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Owing to the efficacy of this brilliant director, Raja Natwarlal<\/em> had mounted high expectations especially amongst the Emraan Hashmi fans. Unfortunately, nothing could work for Kunal Deshmukh this time. Neither the script, nor the songs and not even the actors! Though the film is nothing great as a comic-con, one can at least watch it once for the sake of Emraan!<\/p>\n

Verdict:<\/strong> Watch it only if you are a true fan of Emraan Hashmi!<\/p>\n
