Haji Ali Juice Centre is one of the most renowned juice centres in Mumbai<\/a> ( a bit expensive!).This place has variety of juices which you cannot find easily at any other destination. For example, I have never tried custard apple with cream but it was a sheer delight to experience this at Haji Ali Juice Centre. \u00a0You have to shed Rs 350 for a bowl\u00a0but believe me that it is worth spending.<\/p>\n

Vada Pav is Mumbai\u2019s own burger<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

  1. Vada Pav. It is a great delight to relish upon. If you visit Mumbai and you do not experience Vada Pav, your trip is simple incomplete. It is a Mumbai style burger with a potato patty inside a locally made bread known as pav. It is garnished with green coriander chutney and garlic powder. This is one of the most staple, cheaply available and relished food items in Mumbai. As per my experience, the best place to eat Vada Pav is Gajanan Vada Pav Centre which has retail chains all over Mumbai. The price ranges from Rs 10 to 15 and if you are at a restaurant, it may range from Rs20 to 25. I simply loved this dish as it is extremely tasty, value for money and most importantly not available in Delhi<\/a> (God! … why?)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Misal Pav \u2013 a spicy treat!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

    Pav Bhaji, a dish you can die for! This dish is available easily in Mumbai. The best Pav Bhaji, according to me, was of the shop known as Sardar Pav Bhaji Wala. It specialises in Amul Pav Bhaji which costs Rs 120 and cheese Pav Bhaji costing Rs 140.The Bhaji is made of different variety of mashed vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, capsicums, cauliflowers, etc. The Pav is a locally made bread which they semi fry on a frying pan with butter. It can be relished by a child as well as an adult. I loved eating this \u00a0dish. Different varieties of Pav Bhaji can also be found at Juhu Chowpatty.<\/p>\n

    Bhel Puri is the special dish after which a song has been made and enacted by Govinda. (Me to raste se ja rha tha!<\/em>) I think this is the only dish that represents the cultural mix of Mumbai as it contains so many different\u00a0 varieties of lip-smacking snacks and vegetables. The finest Bhel Puri was at Juhu Chowpatty, for \u00a0 Rs 60.<\/p>\n

      Mumbai is a paradise for non vegetarian food junkies too. If you want to try street style non vegetarian food, visit Mohommad Ali Road (best time during Eid). My friends suggested me a restaurant named Bademiya. Its speciality is Mutton Baida Roti and Chicken Baida Roti with mutton korma and trust me when I say that, I mean it. It was divine. The kebabs are also included in the speciality. Kebabs ranged from Rs 160-180,Baida roti worth Rs 170. Signature mutton and chicken dishes ranged from Rs 150 to 200. Bademiya is located in South Mumbai at a stone\u2019s throw from the Gateway of India. This delight is\u00a0 extremely tasty and lip smacking. I personally advise every non-veg foodie to surely visit this place. You will love it, as I did.<\/p>\n

      1. I think that Mumbai alongside with Delhi could be called the food capitals of India as according to me these are the best places for food junkies to experience an adrenaline rush. In Mumbai they have Khau Galli and in Delhi we have Chandni Chowk<\/a>. The two hubs of \u00a0amazing food!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
