This is a very rich (read: calories!) dish and is very tasty as well. You will find yourself guiltily going in for a second and a third helping.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ingredients<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>250 grams medium-sized mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>100 grams fresh malai (If using packaged thick cream, start with 50 grams.)<\/li>\n<li>Chopped fresh coriander leaves<\/li>\n<li>Paste of 2 onions, freshly made<\/li>\n<li>4 pieces of black cardamom<\/li>\n<li>4 pieces of cloves<\/li>\n<li>4 pieces of pepper corns<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cinnamon stick broken into 2-3 pieces<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon of coarse roasted cashewnut powder or small pieces of roasted cashewnut<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon butter<\/li>\n<li>Cooking oil<\/li>\n<li>Black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Amchoor to taste<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon garam masala<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon red chilli powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How To Make Teekhe Malai Mushroom<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean mushrooms thoroughly and bring them to room temperature. Leave the mushrooms as they are after trimming their stems.<\/li>\n<li>Set up your kadhai and add the butter to it.<\/li>\n<li>Once the butter is melted, add ginger-garlic paste to the kadhai.<\/li>\n<li>Toss in the mushrooms till they are done.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt and pepper to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer them from the kadhai and keep them aside.<\/li>\n<li>Add 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil to the kadhai.<\/li>\n<li>Add the onion paste. Cook till half done.<\/li>\n<li>Add all spices\/ masalas except green cardamom powder and chilli flakes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the malai and allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Add the mushrooms.<\/li>\n<li>Cook for a while on low heat allowing it to release its aroma and unify.<\/li>\n<li>Add the cashewnuts and green cardamom powder.<\/li>\n<li>Add the chilli flakes.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer to a serving dish.<\/li>\n<li>Add freshly chopped coriander.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a flavourful take on making mushrooms.
