This is the most common dilemma\u00a0 that I face whenever I have guests coming over for lunch or dinner. Some time ago, I tried this <em>paneer dilkhush<\/em> recipe and it turned out to be delicious. It is very easy to make. It takes just a few minutes and requires some very basic ingredients. So at least now, I have a recipe that I can trust to please my guests. If you want to impress yours, do give it a try. So here is the recipe.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Paneer Dilkhush<\/h2>\n<p><em>Ghee<\/em> &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Whole black pepper &#8211; 3-4 no.s<\/p>\n<p>Whole black cardamom &#8211; 2-3 no.s<\/p>\n<p>Cloves &#8211; 3-4 no.s<\/p>\n<p>Cinnamon &#8211; 1-inch piece<\/p>\n<p>Onion &#8211; 2 cups ( finely chopped )<\/p>\n<p>Tomato pur<span dir=\"auto\">\u00e9<\/span>e &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p><em>Garam masala<\/em> powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Kitchen king powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Fresh cream &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Cashew nuts &#8211; \u00a03 tbsp (soaked in water for 10 minutes and blended to make a paste)<\/p>\n<p><em>Paneer<\/em> &#8211; 300 gm<\/p>\n<p>Fresh coriander to garnish<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Paneer Dilkhush<\/h2>\n<p>Heat <em>ghee<\/em> in a heavy bottom pan.<\/p>\n<p>Add black cardamom, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon.<\/p>\n<p>Fry for half a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Add onions and fry till golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Add tomato puree and fry for a minute<\/p>\n<p>Remove the pan from heat and let it cool.<\/p>\n<p>Blend the <em>masala<\/em> in a blender to make a smooth paste.<\/p>\n<p>Return the<em> masala<\/em> to the pan.<\/p>\n<p>Add half a cup of water, red chili powder,<em> garam masala<\/em> powder, kitchen king powder and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Let it cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat.<\/p>\n<p>Add <em>paneer<\/em>, fresh cream and cashew nut paste.<\/p>\n<p>Cook for another 2-3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add water if required.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish with fresh coriander.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot with butter<em> naan<\/em> or <em>lachcha parantha.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If fresh cream is not available, blend <em>malai<\/em> with little water in a blender and use it in place of cream.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having guests at home and have no idea what to cook?
