About Welcome Back<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 2007, Welcome<\/em> welcomed the audience in the world of laughter and joy. After eight years, director Anees Bazmee is back with his team, though with some changes, with Welcome Back. Yes! Adding to the list of Bollywood sequels, the movie is a sequel to the original movie Welcome, but sans Akshay Kumar.<\/p>\n

Plot:<\/strong>\u00a0Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar) and Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor) are good men now; after saying good bye to the underworld they are living a decent life in Dubai as businessmen. Still unmarried, the brothers are still looking for life partners but are getting befooled by a mother-daughter duo, played by Dimple Kapadia and Ankita Shrivastava. A similar dilemma as was in the prequel of the film revolves around the brothers and Dr. Ghungroo (Paresh Rawal) but with a twist. This time it is between stepsister (Shruti Hassan) of Shetty and Majnu, and stepson (John Abraham) of Dr. Ghungroo. The gamut of confusion and humor does not end here. There is also a blind don, Wanted Bhai (Naseeruddin Shah) and his drug addict son (Shiney Ahuja) to add to the buffoonery.<\/p>\n

Performances:<\/h3>\n

Nana Patekar with his one-liners is a treat to watch. It would not be wrong to say that Anil Kapoor is his partner in crime to make you laugh. The chemistry and the comic timings among the two actors is the best thing about the movie.<\/p>\n

No doubt Paresh Rawal and Naseeruddin Shah are veterans and their sense of timings and the style of delivery of witty dialogues will surely make you laugh!<\/p>\n

John has tried his best to replace Akshay Kumar but looks better in action sequence than comic scenes. Although he is an eye-candy in the movie but you will still miss Akki <\/em>at many places.<\/p>\n

The ladies in the movie Dimple, Ankita and Shruti have done justice to their roles and are far convincing, but it feels Shruti still needs some polishing in her acting skills.<\/p>\n

Welcome Back Music:<\/h3>\n

The music of the film is composed by many music directors. There are seven songs in the music album, out of which some are just used as fillers by the director. Tutti Bole Wedding Di\u00a0<\/em>is a peppy number which could add to the list of Bollywood wedding songs. The lyrics of some songs are funny and quiet meaningless though.
\nWhat\u2019s Good:<\/strong>\u00a0When there is a team of great veterans who can move your funny bones, you can\u2019t resist your laughs. The quirky one-liners and the comic timing among the actors make it a slapstick entertainment<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Bad:<\/strong>\u00a0The film loses itself in some parts. The climax is stretched and stereotypical; could have been more smooth and intriguing. It definitely lacks in creating the aura of laughter that was present in its prequel.<\/p>\n

Verdict:<\/strong>\u00a0You can\u2019t expect an intelligent comedy when there is so much craziness around! Go and watch it if you really want to have some laughing moments but don\u2019t expect much. You will definitely see a reflection of the prequel of Welcome Back but better not to compare the two as you may be disappointed!<\/p>\n
