Whether you are just back from your office, or picking kids from school, even if its just a trip down the street to the market next door, the heat drains you out.\u00a0The mercury has been touching new highs and everyone is looking for some respite. \u00a0Just like most of my fellow countrymen, I love to have tea, however sometimes I do have to think twice to have my hot cup of tea in this summer weather. But, at the same time, I cannot just keep away from it. Few years back, I chanced upon this nice variation to tea in its cold form and since then I&#8217;ve made it a practice to replace at least some of my cups with this nice refreshing drink. Lemon gives it a nice flavor and texture and makes it more appealing. You can enjoy this amazing lemon iced tea with or without any snacks. So, here is the recipe.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for Lemon Iced Tea<\/h2>\n<p>Lemon Juice &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Soda &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p>Tea leaves &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Lemon slices &#8211; 3-4 no.<\/p>\n<p>Honey &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p>Ice cubes<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Lemon Iced Tea<\/h2>\n<p>Add tea leaves in 1\/2 cup of water and boil till the colour comes.<\/p>\n<p>Strain and keep aside.<\/p>\n<p>Fill the glass completely with ice cubes.<\/p>\n<p>Add \u00a0lemon juice and honey to the glass.<\/p>\n<p>Add lemon slices.<\/p>\n<p>Add the strained tea and soda in the glass.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish with mint leaves or a rosemary sprig.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make this drink only when you are ready to serve it.<\/p>\n<p>Always use freshly squeezed lemon juice, otherwise it may turn bitter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India is being scorched by the sun, with monsoons still a few weeks away.
