About Movie 1920 London<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As another sequel in the ‘1920’ series, 1920 London<\/em> had promised a more scary story. The film has much loved Sharman Joshi playing an exorcist. The star factor of the film was augmented by the presence of Priyanka Chopra\u2019s cousin, Meera Chopra, and Vishal Karwal of ‘MTV Roadies’ fame. After trying his hands on an erotic project like Love Games, story writer Vikram Bhatt returned to his favourite genre \u2013 horror. The only exception this time is that the film has been directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.<\/p>\n

Plot<\/h3>\n

1920 London revolves around a London-based couple. Everything goes on well in the paradise of Shivangi (played by Meera Chopra) and her husband Veer Singh (played by Vishal Karwal) until the latter receives a gift from Rajasthan, India. From the same day, life became Topsy-turvy for Veer. On seeing the deteriorating mental, physical and spiritual condition of her husband, Shivangi gets convinced that black magic been done on her better half. It is then that she decides to visit Rajasthan and seeks help from a spiritual header and guru, Jai (played by Sharman Joshi). How Jai helps the possessed Veer from the evil spirits is what forms the crux of 1920 London.<\/p>\n

Performances<\/h3>\n

As the first horror movie of renowned actor Sharman Joshi, the actor actually scored well when it comes to performances. The way Sharman has understood his character and portrayed it on screen is phenomenal. His patience and diligence is what you surely wouldn\u2019t like to miss while watching the movie.<\/p>\n

Seen as the leading lady in 1920 London, Meera Chopra was not at par with the expectations from her character. She has tried to look convincing in her role of a loving wife, but has failed to impress the audience.<\/p>\n

Vishal Karwal, the ex-winner of MTV Splitsvilla, has to work on his acting skills. It was a missed opportunity for him to connect with the audience by offering a realistic portrayal of his character who has been possessed by an evil spirit.<\/p>\n

1920 London Music<\/h3>\n

1920 London has some brilliant compositions including the recreated version of the epic scary song \u201cGumnaam Hai Koi\u201d, \u201cAaj Ro Len De\u201d, \u201cAafreen\u201d, \u201cTujko Main\u201d and \u201cRootha Kyun\u201d. All the songs blend well with the movie. Overall, the music of 1920 London is commendable.<\/p>\n

Watching Sharman Joshi in a horror movie is something you definitely wouldn\u2019t want to miss. 1920 London is a complete delight for Sharman fans. Other high points of this flick should be the background music and \u00a0locations.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Bad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

While some parts of the film have been unexpectedly stretched, the flawed screenplay has dulled the prospects of 1920 London become a memorable horror\u00a0film. \u00a0Meera and Vishal needed more conviction in them to pull this one off and make up for the not-so-great script.<\/p>\n

Verdict<\/strong><\/p>\n

1920 London is an\u00a0\u00a0ordinary film with average performance and mediocre script. Go and watch the flick if you love \u00a0Sharman Joshi.<\/p>\n
