People are often known to get really afraid and start racing ahead before they see – to their utter dismay – that the same lady is racing ahead of their vehicles without apparently breaking any sweat. In an area such as the cantonment, which always stays dark – especially at that time in the night – it can be quite an unnerving experience. It is said that the spirit in question is that of a lady who was murdered years back when she attempted to hitchhike to the Cantonment.

Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station

The Dwarka Sector 9 station on Delhi Metro’s Blue Line is also reputed to be one of the most eerie places in Delhi. They have also seen a lady come out of thin air and then disappear in no time.

House Number W-3 at Greater Kailash

House Number W-3 at Greater Kailash is an abandoned house where an aged couple was brutally murdered in what used to be their residence. Local people often state with horror how they have heard strange murmurs and voices from the house which lies in a desolate state now. One can also hear some muffled laughter every now and then. It is also said that the air around the house is dizzyingly heavy, a fact that points towards paranormal activity.

Jamali Kamali Tomb and Mosque

These structures are located at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park in New Delhi. These are basically the mausoleums of Kamali and Jamali, both of whom were Sufi saints from the sixteenth century. It is highly popular among people who love their history. It used to be a hunting lodge during the Tughlaq dynasty but is now in a dilapidated state and is also said to be haunted. It is located within dense forests. People who have tried to visit the place say every time they try to venture nearby they are obstructed by an invisible shield of energy that feels like a juggernaut.

Feroz Shah Kotla Fort

This fort is located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. It is said that djinns frequent this place. This fort was also built during the reign of Feroz Shah Tughlaq in the middle part of fourteenth century.
