The tanginess from the lemons and the crunch from the peanuts makes this dish a very balanced meal. It is a very quick-to-make recipe and can be put together in no time. It is usually eaten for breakfast throughout the southern part of India, but you can enjoy it anytime of the day with some pickle or just on it’s own. It is also a good recipe to use the left over rice and it can be stored for up to 2 days. It makes a very good tiffin option and is also good to carry while travelling as it does not spoil very fast. To make it healthier you can also add vegetables like carrots, beans and peas, though it is traditionally made with only peanuts.
