The site (and mobile app) helps with information that enables people to find comparisons for flights, hotels and car hire, and as per a survey conducted, it seems Indians are moving away from clich\u00e9d holidays in Europe, America and France. There is indeed a change in the perspective of the seasoned Indian travellers and they seem to be looking for an added dose of thrill and adventure as they head for the land of hobbits and adventure sports.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Survey<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A comparison was drawn on the travel searches between 2015 and 2016.<\/li>\n<li>The mindboggling number of 50 million users used the app to find the perfect holiday destination.<\/li>\n<li>New Zealand, with a 52% growth in travel searches since last year, emerged a clear victor.<\/li>\n<li>There has also been a subtle shift towards South-East Asian destinations like Malaysia.<\/li>\n<li>Though the country is known to be a rather expensive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/events\/2017-holidays-calendar.html\">holiday<\/a> destination, a host of economical deals by airlines may have contributed to the country coming within the reach of the aspiring traveller.<\/li>\n<li>Australia came close as the most sought after travel destination at the second place.<\/li>\n<li>The survey shows that many people are also looking at UK for the perfect <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/maps\/india\/tourist-centers.htm\" target=\"_blank\">holiday destination<\/a> to usher in the New Year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>New Zealand <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>New Zealand in the southwestern Pacific Ocean consisting of two main islands, has \u00a0stunning landscapes and friendly locals, and the promise of something new every day.
