It is among the popular attractions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapsofindia.com\/maps\/delhi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Delhi<\/a> and is therefore visited by hundreds of people daily.<\/p>\n<p>The grand Hazrat Nizamuddin tomb has lattice screens called <em>jalis<\/em>, marble arches and courtyards. Devotees tie red threads to these screens with a belief that their wishes would be granted. Inside the tomb, the shrine is covered with scented dark green cloth. Devotees offer prayers, shower rose petals and light incense sticks before the shrines.<\/p>\n<p>Within the Dargah complex, tombs of famous poet, Amir Khusrao and Jehan Ara Begum, a Mughal princess are also located. Also, you would find many other tombs of people who have a wish to be buried next to the Sufi Saint after their death, in the Dargah complex.<\/p>\n<p>One can visit the Dargah any day, but every Thursday, special Qawwali programmes are organised at Nizamuddin Dargah and it is adorned with beautiful lights. Even Bollywood has dedicated and shot traditional <em>qawwalis<\/em> at the Dargah, latest one being the &#8220;<em>k<\/em><i>un faya kun&#8221; <\/i>from the movie<em> Rockstar<\/em>.
